Nick gave a keynote presentation on “Developments in biological analysis and imaging using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry” at the Metabolomics 2011 conference, Cairns, Australia.
IASIM-10
Alex presented the work of the group with a talk entitled ‘Imaging SIMS: Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry, 2D and 3D’ to the first International Association for Spectral Imaging (IASIM) meeting in Dublin, Ireland. IASIM-10 is essentially the third EASIM meeting (European Association for Spectral Imaging) which was retitled recently.

Theophilus Redwood Lecture Tour

Following his award of the RSC Theophilus Redwood prize, John began his lecture tour with a presentation at the University of Warwick entitled,

A number of the group attended the 17th International Conference on Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS XVII) in Toronto. John F, Sadia, Ed and Alan all gave oral presentations with Alan and Ed also presenting posters.
EASIM
Alex presented the work of the group with a ‘multivariate analysis of images’ slant to the second European Association for Spectral Imaging (EASIM) meeting in Gembloux, Belgium.
